Getting Old (Birthday Giveaway!)

Heyo!

We did it. We've been going for a whole year now! This blog has been a really great way for me to express my opinions, thoughts and to get some experience at writing about things I find relevant and interesting. I feel like I have come such a long way in just one year so I am really excited to see what the next year brings me.

The first thing I wanted to update you all on is the layout for my little old blog. I've been looking at the progression some of my fellow blogging friends have made, as well as those blogs I love and aspire to post as frequently as. I have decided that although I really love my current theme, I think I am ready for a change! This means that some of my old blog posts (should you choose to go back and read them) might look different and not exude the same lively vibe they once did. I want to have something that's a bit more sophisticated and incorporates my favourite font (fifty points if you know what font it is) and allows me to post things that might not look right on this blog.

I have been writing a bit more about bigger things than 'look at my uni room' or 'heck look at these cats in this cafe' and I'm really enjoying it. However, this does not mean I will stop changing what I write, I want this to be a spot where I can talk about anything and everything as and when I want to. I want to build something that I'm really proud of (I am proud already, but I want to be even prouder, like a dog mum of two instead of just one!)

So, small layout changes which I will be revealing soon, and I will be changing my content. On top of this, as soon as exams are over I will be writing and uploading at least one post a week, because I will actually have free time. I will be talking about some of the amazing things I have lined up for the next few months like secret projects, hobbies I'm taking seriously now, and the dreaded dissertation planning.

I am really excited for everything I've already accomplished (and how much better I am at proofreading my blog posts and spotting errors before I upload!) and I cannot wait for everything the next year will bring.

Thank you to everyone who's been reading along with me, your comments on here, online and when I've seen you all have been so warming, welcome and delightful. As a thank you to everyone who has been reading, or to anyone who has just stumbled across this by accident, I am hosting a little give-away of a few little things that I love as a gift from me to you.
